This research investigates the elements that influence the retention decision of army representatives. Data with this research had been drawn from answers from officials who opted for voluntary retirement recently. The survey involves data about reasons of joining military, their watch about various aspects of armed service, reason for going and fulfillment level in civil globe. The Microsoft company excel computer software was used to analyze the data. The investigation was effective in figuring out several factors, economical and social being the most important ones. An evaluation of the fulfillment variables was also found away. This can be utilized to indicate areas for improvement in order to enhance the military's general level of job satisfaction. Finally, this exploration paper advises for making a future focused Retention Strategy Action Plan.

1 ) 1 . Bangladesh Army is one of the largest organizations in the country. The organization is completely dependent on its human capital for its accomplishment. Managing a persons resource successfully therefore remains the attraction for achieving the vision, tasks and targets of this corporation. Army strives to attract, sponsor, train and retain quality personnel, equally enlist and officer to accomplish these.
1 . 2 . Getting personnel has not been a big trouble for army. Army was always regarded as a way of life, not just a job. Like any under developed country, military was regarded as the mass for many shiny students of Bangladesh. But just lately armies all over the world, especially in the created countries, are facing critical recruiting and retention complications. The reasons behind are constantly changing factors in civil and military planets. Bangladesh is usually developing monetarily and changing socially.
