Abstract: A coupled life cycle priced at and life cycle assessment was carried out to calculate the monetary and environmental impact of silicon-aluminum combination production. The results revealed that the lightweight aluminum alloy created from secondary lightweight aluminum accounted for 70%–95% of the environmental benefits generally in most categories, besides in the land occupation and economic classes, compared with the aluminum blend made from principal aluminum. These findings could be attributed to the decrease in strength and raw material intake (i. e., electricity, salt hydroxide, petroleum coke, and charcoal consumption) and the fairly high cost of second aluminum scrap. Optimizing natural material and electricity ingestion efficiency, lessening the travel distance coming from raw material (e. g., bauxite and old light weight aluminum scrap) buyers to suppliers, and changing the end-life treatment of crimson mud coming from landfill to road building material creation are essential factors in reducing the complete environmental and economic effects.
