п»їIn this task I will describe the physiology of two named human body systems pertaining to energy metabolic rate in the body. I will be explaining two body devices these are Respiratory system and Gastrointestinal system. Energy

In accordance to Wright (2007), we require energy intended for everything all of us do. Energy can be found in several forms which include chemical energy, electrical energy, cold weather energy, radiant energy, mechanical energy and nuclear strength. We work with energy all the time including while we are sleeping. We all use strength for each of our muscle activity, new cells and blood flow. (Wright, 2007) We get strength from the food that we eat. Metabolism is actually a chemical activity which uses cellular breathing. (Wright, 2007) Aerobic breathing is respiration with oxygen present. (Wright, 2007) The formula for cellular breathing is beneath: Glucose +oxygen = Strength, carbon dioxide and water. Carbon dioxide and water are the waste products from creating energy. Respiration can happen without oxygen. This process is called anaerobic respiration. The equation glucose+ oxygen which produces energy along with the bi-products produces 35 Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). This produces even more ATP as it has air present (aerobic) this is utilized more effectively in the body for things like growing. The rest is lost through high temperature as a bi-product which can be good as we have to stay nice. ATP is definitely the unit to get measuring strength. Respiration with out oxygen makes 2 ATP so the strength is much less efficient because there is not as much ATP staying produced. While from the formula where o2 is present, this produces 35 ATP which can be more efficient which is often used for activities like movement. (Khan Academy, 2009) You can then go to the under equation can be an example of anaerobic respiration: Blood sugar =lactic chemical p +energy.

Aerobic respiration happens inside the mitochondria while anaerobic breathing occurs inside the cytoplasm. (Wright, 2007) Metabolism is the quantity of energy utilized in a certain time period. This strength is through the nutrients found in food. (Biology, 2010) Cell respiration could be further divided into 3 different levels. There are three stages from the process of cell respiration they are Glycolysis, Bosartige tumorerkrankung cycle and Electron transfer chain. (About, n. d) The initial stage of cellular respiration is glycolysis. Glycolysis is the breakdown of glucose. We get glucose from the carbohydrates we consume and are broken down through the digestive function system. (About, n. d) The digestive tract is there to digest the food we eat. Through the digestive system carbohydrates get changed into disaccharides after that into a monosaccharide which is also generally known as glucose. We all use the glucose to make energy which is used in aerobic respiration. (About, d. d) The digestive system starts with the mouth. In the mouth is wherever mechanical digestive function happens. Mastication means that meals is by artificial means broken down in the mouth. Mastication is another term used for chewing; this can be a first stage of digestion. Digestion happens through a a few different processes. Within the mouth, food is divided by an enzyme named salivary amylase. The salivary amylase is usually produce and comes from the salivary gland. From masticating the food, the amylase reduces the sugars into disaccharides. Disaccharides happen to be 2 substances from the carbohydrate which have been broken down. A bolus is made from mastication and the meals is turned into a ball as it is easier to swallow. (Enzymes, 2005) Following the foods go lower the oesophagus. Movement from the bolus (food) breaks down additional. This is because there is still some salivary amylase going down the oesophagus with the food. (Enzymes, 2005) After going down the oesophagus the food reaches the stomach. The food stays inside the stomach to get 60 minutes until it finally is digested further by simply stomach acid and pepsin. Pepsin is an enzyme which is released inside the stomach. (Enzymes, 2005) " Your tummy lining as well secretes hydrochloric acid,...
