In the " Declaration of Independence”(Jefferson, 1776), and " Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions” (Stanton, 1848), the two authors state that something is not really right regarding the way they have already been treated as well as the people they represent, that something has to change instantly. The things that that they demand, the reason behind those needs, the things that they should put up with, plus the final resolution, are the standard that these documents followed. In the " Assertion of Independence”, Jefferson starts with the points that this individual and all his followers require. They demand independence, these people were a segregated nation, as a separated nation they needed new rules, mainly because they did not need to comply with the rules in the Kingdom, individuals rules would not fit these people anymore. The reason behind doing this was, according to Jefferson, that men will be equal with inalienable rights, and when a kind of government is usually self-destructive and harmful, it is the right of men to abolish that.
